Jody

Our daughter came to live with us as a foster child at the age of 2. She is actually our niece. She was born with methamphetamine in her system and thus put into foster care. After a few failed attempts to get her back into her bio family, she was placed into several foster homes. Parental rights were finally terminated and we got her.

We knew right away our RADish was a little different but we chalked it up to having such a rough start to life. At the age of 3 we had our RADish evaluated and it was suggested to us that she may have RAD. After a year of trial and error we got a firm diagnoses and she has begun Theraplay at the age of four.

This life style has many ups and downs, most often more downs than ups but we are seeing progress.
