Adopted son at 10 days old. He was born addicted to cocaine & heroin. Always withdrawn but could attach to me. We divorced when he was 6. Things got worse. In & out of therapy for last 10 years with no success. Attachment to me is very weak. Now at 16 he has finally been diognosed. I pray it is not too late.
