In early 1995, my ex husband and I flew down to Brazil to adopt a little boy. When we got him he was very well. He had been abandoned in a box on the front of a doorstep and then was taken to an orphanage. He suffered from malnutrition, parasites, pneumonia following a very severe case of the chicken pox and impetigo. He started showing symptoms of being RAD early on. He was an overactive toddler, getting into absolutely everything. Things have steadily gotten worse though. Now, he jumps all over the furniture and lately he has been acting out sexually at school, asking to see and touch other boys private parts. He is very loving, though. He constantly hugs and says "I love You" to most anyone. At night, he does things like fall assleep with all of my clothes wrapped around him and no matter where he falls assleep, he always climbs into bed next to me in the night and has to be touching me. I find this very difficult because he rarely gives me a moment and is demanding
