This is a long story and thank you for reading it in advance..
My husband and I have been together since 10 grade. We had a little girl when we were 19 and placed her for adoption when she was 10 mts old. We just couldnt get our lives together to take care of her and wanted her to have a good life.
Well this story unfolds like this...We were makeing diner the Friday before Mothers Day a year ago and the phone rang. I was told to sit down by the adoptive mother. SHe and her husband would send pictures and etc through out the years to us. THey knew where we were. They told us tons of stuff.THen said it is either you or the state. We didnt even think about not taking her. She has now been here almost a year and a half. She is 12 now. Good student..has a lot going on until she shuts the doors here. I need lots of help and just a place to vent mostly. This is a hard situation for us. We have four cildren and love each of them. We have an ADHD gifted LD child too. We dont have the same situations we do with our daughter. We look at her sometimes like where do you come from.. Is this for real... Did she just say that. We lots of people saying ohh she is just 12. Normal stuff from a kid. I have chosen not to include any examples of situations we deal daily with because it is hard for me to know when to stop.People look at us like we are crazy.. We get things said to us like "we cant believe she does that. or not that sweet innocent child she is perfect her... on and on. So we just dont talk anymore. We have therapist say just give her time be patient... I am going how much patients does anyone have left after and Department of Family and Childrens abuse complaint last and etc. I could at this point go for days..I will spare you ..Thank you all for allowing me to share
