Our adopted son is now 13 and we just recently had him diagnosed with RAD. He has had ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, passive-aggressive disorder, and we knew that something else had been going on and found out after speaking with a friend from our old church that her adopted daughter had RAD and she started relaying the symptoms etc. and I told her that it sounded exactly like our son! It has been a frustrating, exhausting few years trying to figure out what was going on with our son, with all of his bizarre behavior that didn't seem to make any sense, but now that I have read some about RAD, it all is coming together! We felt that it would be helpful to talk with others who have been facing this and ask questions too.
