We adopted Nikki from Tatarstan Russia in April 2001 when she was 2-1/2 years old. We expected some difficult times and problems with attachment but she has gone from bad to worse and we are very burnt out. After struggling for a year and a half on our own, we are contacting a therapist and anyone we can to help us help her. We would be most grateful for any advice, suggestions or support. We are so glad we found this web site.
