It seems that there are still some questions about my health since I didn't snap back after the transfusion I had at Thanksgiving. I am getting another transfusion and a bone marrow test this week. My husband is having some health issues too, but his are known and definitely treatable.
I could use prayers for peace and calm in my household and a willingness to accept help when it is offered.
My anxious kids are more anxious and some of them are angry.
The fact that I really do need to rest is hard for some people to accept.
The Holy Spirit has told me that something wonderful is coming and also that I am about to go through one of the hardest times of my life. The hard part is what is scaring me.
Thanks for the prayers.

Father, I pray your best for Mama Bee. Envelope her in your peace as you take her through this journey. Give her endurance and focus her on you and you alone. If others in the house choose not to see You through this, show her how to keep moving forward. We boldly adk for you to heal her body and spirit. Bless her today as a child of the king. In your name I praise, amen.

Mama Bee1,
I will be praying for you as well. I think knowing what God has in store is helpful and scary. But, trust He will never leave you alone. He knows what you need and the hardest part for me is taking the help when it arrives.
Take care of yourself. This time of year makes all kids anxious and our RADs are just 10X worse.
Praying!
Sherrie

Thanks for the prayers. Things are calmer. The angry one is doing better. I was able to talk to another one and calm him down by telling him what might change and what wouldn't. Other times I might have just gotten exasperated and ended up yelling.
I don't feel as scared as I did. Some things have been coming to mind that I had been scared about in the past, that weren't as bad as people made them out to be. One of my adult dd mentioned that at least they aren't insisting that I be immediately hospitalized.
Many people are offering to help in ways I didn't imagine would happen. The kids' school staff is offering to bring meals and transport kids to events that I thought that they would have to miss. My church is offering to help. I just need to overcome my embarrassment about having a messy house and be willing to take help when it is offered.
I rested and did very little compared to what I had been trying to do so I don't feel exhausted.
Tonight I called my mom and talked to her. She was so happy that I told her what was going on. She had heard second hand through my siblings when I went into the hospital and she had been worried. Now she feels okay since she heard my state of mind.
God is good. All the time. Thanks again for the prayers.

Mama Bee1, Since I am eternally looking for ways to help my kid get empathy and compassion, I have an idea that maybe you could suggest to your children that since you are feeling ill, it would be very helpful if they all helped out by doing some extra household chores fro you. I believe that will allow your kids to show love and then feel good as well. It's all in the little steps but if the kids know you need help they may feel good about being in charge to do it. my sons have amazed me at times with their compassion and kindness when I didn't think it possible. This may be a chance for you to let them help. Just an idea. I am not wanting you to have more stress but less by letting them clean and such. Still praying you get well soon. Sherrie

Thanks Sherrie, that is a good idea. I have been doing that so it is nice to know that others do it and I don't have to feel guilty.
They are preparing the meals, packing lunches and doing the laundry. Plus a bunch of other things.

I like to stand in the doorway at my psychiatrist's office and blow on people as they walk by. Some folks don't like it, but I'm a fan.

I am still praying too!
God will bring you through this time of testing. I am certain he will use this to strengthen your family and open your DH's eyes more too!
